Tool options for the drift pins? very small phillips screw driver, ice pick, small center punch, shishkabob skewer, lots of options. Basically the drift pin keeps the pad retaining clips from falling out. It's just a rod/pin with a thicker area on it so that when you tap it into the hole it wedges slightly. It goes in flush so you need something to tap it out with. It's a little thicker in diameter than a pen refill but not as big around as a pencil. By the way, there is a secret to compressing/retracting the pistons by hand. Just squeeze and wait. They'll move with very little pressure, it's just that they'll move slowly. Squeeze harder and they'll move faster. Just like compressing a shock by hand. They're not completely independent so you need to squeeze all of them on a side at the same time.
