the President is here in ABQ for a funrasier but i think hes raising more hell with all this traffic backups and detours. I witnessed 3 accidents and stopped for one when a guy pulling a tailer was T-boned by a 60yr old guy driving a PT Cruiser and from the look of it he was trying to be a jerk and not give the guy making the turn any room and ended up not haveing room to break and that guy ended up having to go to the hospitle. the other driver was unhurt despite being hit on the drivers door. it took me 4 u-turns, 3 detours, and 40 minutes to go 2mi to pickup my wife for lunch and then we just went up the road and got Carls Jr. and headed back to drop her off so i could make it back to work on time. i had a run in with the governator visiting one of our sites. the chp or secret service (dunno which, both the governor and a few senators were there) gave me a bunch of bullshit for parking in my own spot in our garage. i basically had to push my way through them to get out of the garage and into the building where the governor was.

Try dealing with it every few weeks when he is in Crawford especially if some President from a foreign country comes with him were on lockdown for HOURS!! When his daughter was here for her wedding a few weeks ago it was horrible but when his Presidency is over I'm afraid Waco will realize that they built too many hotels and go bust. I've met a few of his Helicopter pilots at a Whataburger near the L3/TSTC airport where he lands, they all carry some nice weaponry.
