BT - Ported TB Feedback

    First off, Scott shipped my new ported TB out the day after I ordered the part and received it within 3 days after that. Standard shipping from FL to PA is ... 3 days! wow .. prompt service!!!

    Anyway I installed the new TB this weekend ...
    Install is easy, figure 30 mins max ...
    Tools .. Slotted Screwdriver for CAI clamps and a 10mm socket, 1/4in drive w/ a 4in extention for the TB.

    I easily noticed a nice increase in power AND a very noticeable increase in throttle response. I would say just the increase in responsiveness is worth the money alone!!

    I can't wait to see how this mod compliments a N2O plate also

    I will ship my stock TB back tomorrow.

    Dont know much about them,what do the neon guys look for mm wise?

    i think max is 55mm compared to 47mm stock but theres also a spacer also

    im thinking u guys can do this as a service meaning send us your TB and we will port it and just find a place to get the new plate

    New plate for what?Do the SRT-4 guys think its worth it?

    Scott, he's thinking of making a full bore bigger throttle body (like an Arrington 90mm), not the taper that you do on the LXs. He wants you to port it and then he'll find/make the new blade.

    Yea beleave it or not it makes a big difference porting the stocker and there's not many places that do it also

    Adam,he used the term spacer and plate in 2 different posts so now im really confused.


    Chris do you have an extra T/B I can see?Chris call me tomorrow at the shop,im not in today..Thanks
