Running Word, Excel, Visio, Google Earth, Photobucket, IE w/5 tabs, Outlook, Media Player, Office Communicator and Cygnet (a large remote control program) may yield you this:

No, it's an Intel i5 XP machine with a solid state hard drive, 4 Gig RAM. I am pretty sure it is video related...it happens when I move Google Earth to the second monitor, then do some things...not totally sure what but LOL.

That's where I lean. Running a second monitor has some odd quirks itself. This PC is also a docked laptop and I think the video is based off of the motherboard so yea, definitely an option.

No biggie though...I can recreate it so I am not too worried...I just don't run Google Earth and drag it to the second monitor :)

Meh, I get that occassional error on my Laptop. I do have Vista.

No, I do not run as many programs as you, Jon. I have narrowed that error down to FB advertising links. Anytime I accidentily hit one of those STUPID links, I can count on the error within a day or two.

I've decided with anything newer than XP, its memory memory memory. If its Vista, then its Vista. Windows 7 is way more stable, but that's after I doubled my memory and performed an exorcism to get Vista off my machine.

    Right there is your problem.

Run the Task Manager and look for "Ron".

That's funny...I think I had FB open on one of my tabs, but I can't remember what I was doing exactly when I got the error.

    I don't know Swedish Fredrik...lol

Windows7 reminds me of a cleaned up Vista also

Lol. I am sure if I tried to end task on "Ron", there is not a chance on this earth he would go away ;) Love ya man!

Cntrl+Alt+Del never worked on Ron...he shows back up with more giddy up. Ron's like a pesky STD, the more you try to get rid of it, the more potent it gets!
