wondering if anybody has ran across this...

while putting the console back together I tried to snap the center fascia into place and the top two tabs wouldn't stay in. I took it back off and found the plastic behind the dash was broken. Now the top sticks out because it has nothing to hold on to. Has anybody ran into this? I'm thinking about getting some plastic and epoxying it to the back

ok, I cut out some plastic in a rough template to fit behind it, scuffed it and used a hot glue gun to set the pieces in place. Then I took the dremel and routed out the plastic behind it to fit the hole. So far it seems to hold up pretty well. I'm not putting it back together until the shifter piece comes in though. I think once it goes back together I'm not taking it apart.

I took some pics of the finished product but you cant really see anything.

I think I've had mine off at least 10 times and they haven't broken yet... I'll be sure to be prepared next time I get back there.
