Well Im kinda stumped right now.. I noticed something else about my 300.. On the back it has the slotted rotors with brembo calipers.. On the front it has the brembo calipers but regular rotors on it??? Whats up with that??? :cry2: I think I wana put the slotted rotors back on the front, but I dont wana break the bank.. (Rescession).. So what are your recommendations for brake pads all the way around and rotors for the front..

depends on what you're looking for as far as braking ability. you can go with the centric posi-quiet's. they're the cheap and produce very little dust. the braking ability on them is probly the worst out there for our cars, they fade alot. i just ordered a set of ebc red stuff. looking forward to those going in, alot more bite to them than the pq's, but at the cost of more dust
Here is the story. When the 2006 SRT8s came out they had solid rotors and the Brembos. Brembo designed the system for the SRT8s. Many/most of the cars started developing "grooving" on the rotors within 12,000 miles. Some very soon, some later. Turns out that brake dust was not being evacuated properly from the leading edge of the pads. Eventually they came out with a TSB. Brembo specified the slotted rotors as the fix. The TSB said that if any of the rotors showed grooving within the mileage constraints then both rotors on that axle should be replaced. Pads were to be replaced also only if showing excessive wear. Most all of the dealers doing the TSB would replace all 4 if any showed signs of grooving. Some didn't. A few dealers would throw in pads also if they did the rotors. 2007 and later SRT8s came with the slotted rotors. now you know the rest of the story.
