So I know a guy up here who just bought an 08 BMW 335xi Sedan. Its got the works. Very nice ride. He use to own a Mazda6Speed. He has a Dash Hawk and did some runs with it and posted them up on a local board.

His Bimmer is bone stock. He says that this is what others have run with their Bimmers at a track????

This sound right? I've wanted to run him. Sounds like he may hang pretty well with me????

I didn't think they were that quick...I'm raising a small BS flag.

Sounds right. The 335xi is a turbo'd 6 cylinder, should make about the same power as a N/A V8.

My guess would be his dash hawk like other is off by at least .5sec

They put down about 260ish to the ground AWD. That less then the 5.7L LXs.

a simple chip in these and they are putting down well over 350 at the wheels. I think 260 might be a bit under.

Is that 260ish dyno numbers or from the media? Rumor was that the 335xi was significantly underrated so they could continue to sell the current M3s before their redesign this year or next.

260-270 is what I read on a Bimmer forum when I was resarching if he was true or not. I dont want to look lil a dick head if I call BS on him.

Here's some food for thought - the 1 Series is smaller and lighter and has the same drivetrain.

Regardless of how fast the BMW is it just does not compare with the SRTs....park a BMW and a SRT in a parking lot and see which one attracts the most attention...
