That was one option I considered. Without the side HEMI badges, it brings your attention to the hood scoop... I've caught multiple people pausing to take an extra glimpse... a few have looked at the hood and given me a thumbs up and a smile... 'they' know!
Looks great Jason!! Now, just get some KWs on there and lower that bad boy down a little and you'll be sitting sweeeeeeeeeeet!! (or in lieu of KWs just put a bunch of Ryan's "cousins" in your trunk, much cheaper to do, lol!)
Jason...a little off-topic, but who chromed your factory wheels and how much did it cost? Stevie likey!!!!! The 6.1 badges look good to. Did you get them from the dealer?
KWs will go on like July 26th... and she'll be as low as possible, so long as I can still steer her! I don't know who chroemed them... I bought the wheels used from 5150SRT8 (Maarten). I believe the shop that did them is in Los Angeles. As for the 6.1 HEMI badges, do NOT go to the dealer for them. Go to Moparsupercenter (vendor here - where I got mine). Like $16 ea. I wasn't 100% sure about placing them on my car, let alone the hood... but now, I'm very happy with them and their placement... especially now that my windshield spray nozzles are paint-matched. They make the hood scoop POP... and it sort of warns non-believers that this is not a 5.7 (especially because I've got that Vortech blower under the hood now)!!! LOL!
My son Bryce is in that car for 5 minutes and is asleep from the rumble... the best baby soothing device created by man is a big, nasty HEMI!
Pax, what Jason said, go to Moparsupercenter, and they're like 12 bucks each, TOTALLY cheap! I got a pair myself just for the heck of it. They're a nice emblem. Acutally it's 2 pieces, our current "Hemi" emblem and an all chrome "6.1" emblem. They're not connected so you can split them up if wanted. Personally if I had a Charger I'd do like Jason and put it on the hood and then on the side strip off the "Hemi" one and put an "SRT8" one in it's place ... but that's just me. Or you could be like Stevo and just not make a decision and put them ALL on all over your car, lol!!!!!!!
I like the HEMI badge on the fenders, but it would look nicer with the 6.1 emblems in front of it. I'm wondering what the 6.1 emblem would look like all by itself on the sides of the hood scoop. What's anyone think about that?
They're so cheap just get them and try em out. Just tack them on with sticky tape so you can move em around and see where you think they look best.
