does anyone have any info on the autometer gauge set ups for the lx's. does any of them inclube a 'g' meter? part numbers, prices, and where to buy would help. thanks, i can't find anything on them...
I have Autometers....what would you like to know? http://www.autometer.com/ Theres the website...you can see their entire product line there with part numbers... i also know that our vendors carry Autometer Products...I got my gauge pillar from BMC Performance! heres a crappy picture from during the install...
What gauges are you looking for, we carry the whole line of Autometer gauges. Let us know if we can help!
Steve/Kris, how does the pillar pod mount? Any drilling required or is it a snap/tape/original screws in place type? Also, I'm sure it requires certain gauges with certain depths? What is the max depth size for these? If I was going to modify my glovebox, what would the best gauges be? Looking at boost, fuel pressure and possibly A/F.
For a supercharger/turbo the three guages I would have and will have for mine would be Air Fuel Wide Band...a MUST HAVE, Fuel Pressure and Boost. The only downside I see to modifying the glovebox is how will you see the gauges? You want/need these to be front and center. The autometer pod will accept two gauges 1 1/16" diameter which is standard size for most gauges. http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/atm-12236.htm We also have access to a 3 pod pillar gauge as well. http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=93029
Man, that three gauge pillar really blocks the vision. Looks like I might have to stick with the two. So probably the A/F WB and fuel pressure or boost. I'm guessing boost will stay pretty constant so better off with the fuel pressure?
