There are slots available for the January 17, 2009 Private Track Rental at Famoso Raceway located in Bakersfield California. People who originally signed up are dropping out. This private event will be limited to 30-35 cars. The fee is $250 and this covers the track staff, ambulance and track prep and clean up. Racing starts at 8:30am and ends at 4:00pm. This track is about 1-1/2 to 2hrs from the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area. Why waste your time at California Speedway with the 100 other cars, long wait, break downs and crappy 2000+ DA!!! There will be a mix of Mercedes Benz, BMW's, SRT8 LX & Jeep vehicles and a couple of Mustangs. Ok I finally man'd up and got on the waiting list. After tomorrow they drop all unpaid and on come us. So far like 14 unpaid and I'm #6 on the waiting list Fingers crossed....I'll def make a badass video!
