Arrington builds our 440 bottom end. No sleeves. We're installing 3 440's and another 426 as we speak, we'll be sure to post everything up as soon as we make our runs. With all the 426's we've done with them, we're very happy. I'm looking forward to having some fun with these monsters.
Thanks for the explanation. So it is based on a super long stroke? Which is how much longer than the 426? Don't they have to remove the bottom end oilers on the 6.1, when they do a 426 and obviously a 440, so the piston skirt has room to slide out tof the bottom of the cylinder? .
They wont release that info if I recall also didnt release the rod length. If they are using an IRL big end on the crank off a 4.08 stroke that moves the stroke a bit I cant find the current Jornal diameter but the IRL size are 1.8885 or 1.85 from what I have found and I recall the factory being something like 2.1" so that offsets that amount in the stroke. These are some basic numbers so dont hold me too them as gospial. -R
