I've decided to do my own testing on the hood scoop of the truck and gather as much data as possible.
I purchased a digital anemometer and will be doing LOTS of testing with it.

I would like to test on vehicles other than the SRT-10, so if you're near Columbus, don't mind a couple of zip ties on your hood scoop grille, and have got a couple of hours, let me know.

Since it's remote, I'll also be able to test airspeed around wings/spoilers, CAI intake speeds, etc.
    Should be pretty informative.

VIDEO of results will be posted.

Hey Kevan you don't have to waste your time on the truck. Look up Shawno's air flow tests on his Volant. He has all that air flow data as well on the VTCOA.....Just thought I would help

Yeah. And that's the ONLY one thus far.
The little streamers don't really tell us much other than air isn't being 'rammed' into the scoop.

PLUS....this anemometer will allow testing anywhere on the vehicle, with actual MPH (or other measurements). It will *show* you what's happening instead of trying to decipher what streamers are doing.

No offense to Shawno's testing. He was certainly the pioneer with the trucks. I'm just taking it to the next level.
