Yea, last week I had to travel to three states and five cities in three days. Colorado, NorCal, and Washington, Wednesday through Friday. All was going well (except for the 4 hour delay out of Sacramento on Thursday evening lol Damn rain) with my travels and the training I was giving to my customers. I had a real tight schedule but some how managed to make all sites on schedule. The employees were receptive and eager to learn the new equipment that their company had purchased, so the training went well. I flew in and out of Denver, no problem. Flew in and out of Sacramento with no problem (except the delay). Flew in and out of San Francisco with no problem, and flew in and out fo Seattle with no problem. Well I get into Albuquerque and was waiting for my bag to come onto the carousel. It finally arrives and this is what I get... WTF Over? It gets better. lol The hole you see on the above actually goes through TWO different area's INSIDE the suitecase. WTF Over? I could not believe the damage. We are still trying to figure out exsactly how this happened? haha WTF? My theory is that the suitecase must have got stuck on a conveyor belt, but then I think, How in the F#$# does that cause a hole? Fortunately nothing inside the bag was damaged. Still trying to figure that one out. lol Especially since the inner hole actually caught fire. Yup, you can see where the nylon around the inner holes had been singed by fire. WOW!!! Still waiting on United to send me a check. I was happy that this happened when I was home as the United employee kept my bag. hahaha All pictures were taken with my Samsung Instinct.
lol. I've been flying for over 44 years, sometimes 45 weeks a year, and never had anything like that happen.
Light saber. Grmreaper was shipping his .50 and left a blank in the chamber. That happens to my bowling ball all the time at the crap alley we have league at. Baggage handlers had a bet with Bruno that he couldn't spear a hot poker clean through the next bag down the conveyor.

lol yea, Dave has been on a roll lately. I was laughing about this from the time the bag came on the carousel. Others who's baggage did not make it to ABQ were PISSED until I showed them my suitecase and said, "It could be worse". hahaha
Dang...the burn part would really be scary...you dont know if it got burned going thru baggage on the ground or was there a fire in the plane's cargo hold?...:sweat:
Wow... I'm looking forward to when Hal and Ron are out here and its NOT necessarily for work. And I refuse to fly United any more. After making us sit an hour on the tarmac in July Indiana heat and then when we did get to our destination (Nashvegas), they lost our bag so I had to go shopping for something to wear that night to my own high school reunion. In retrospect, I could've shown up in a potato sack and they would've thought it was high fashion. They all kept asking if I knew any celebrities out in cally-FORNya. :doh: Glad you survived the trip and nothing was lost, Ron.
It looks like Cam dropped a one hitter while tossing luggage then puked up that crap he posted about last week frantically trying to get his one hitter back! And Tam....why can't I stop thinking about "Gotham's" That's my new pleural nickname based on your avatar! LOL
