today October 15th the neon was totaled in a rearending by a girl on her phone who failed to see everyone who was stitting at a red light. she hit the back of the neon doing close to 30 and was on the brakes for maybe 1/4-1/2 a sec before she smashed into the rear of the car and was franticly looking for her phone she dropped when i came to check on her. I spent the next few months to present I've pulling the back end out with simple hand tools and a tree. while the car is not fully back to where it was a year ago this morning it looks alot better then what it looked like a year ago this afternoon. im just glad to still have the car and to continue racing today like i will be doing this afternoon/evening. my goal for this evening on this one year anniversary if to have 4 corded tires by nights end and doing all the sliding i can do.
Girls + driving anything = disaster. Now throw in the phone, and your toast! In the end, at least you weren't seriously hurt or killed, and the neon is still good enough to race in!!
