I had to go back to stock last night to have the transfer case serviced today at Jeep so I thought I would do some WOT run and see what the Jeep runs stock, 1st gear 11.5, 2nd gear 11.3, 3rd gear 11.2 and 4th just got a little richer:chair:
Not surprising at all. GM does the same thing. It's called warranty claim reduction. Build them fat and happy and hope they last longer, LOL. Good info Wade!
Holy cow! I was meaning to get around to doing the same thing just to find out. Nice timing. Speaking of timing... Did you happen to get that too?
Good question. I would think so. When you first hook it up it loads the stock tune from the car and "marries" itself to it. If you say no to installing a tune the data logging should work fine at that point? [edit] Now that I think about it, I'm almost sure of it since one of the options is to modify the stock tune.
You can monitor stock timing the same way you can the modified tunes. It's in the 18-22 degree range for the most part.
