No matter how fast, how well it handles, how well it's built, how good a warranty it has when you wash it you still have to clean around a Nissan badge....never in my life will I experience that.....otherwise, awesome car....leasantry:
im still with Larry...a Nissan is a Nissan...of the 7 my family had...EVERY one died well before they should have even with regular maintenance...they finally gave up when i was old enough to talk them into real cars haha (this is just my opinion and what i experienced...dont beat me up over it...if you like it thats cool haha)
Just an informational post! I'm not trying to start an American/Canadian/Mexican/German designed Mopar vs. Japanese car war here! LOL
hahahaha i know my friend!...sorry if i got a little routy here...my nissan almost killed me...a few times cause power steering went out...so i am rather hostel towards them...haha
So i guess you will just say,No big it was just a Nissan That just handed me my ass on a platter.:headspin:
You know I have to give ya the poop Rick when you bring up the imports...it's in my contract...:chair:
Trust me Larry...I know! I just don't look at things quite like some of the "old timers". LOL I wear my American flag everyday on my ID card and when overseas. I still have Chinese made toys for the kid, who knows where made computers, electronics, French cookwear, etc! We've out-sourced our country. I do respect the Japanese sense of Nationalism/pride! I wish we could learn from it. But HEY...how about that GT-R!!! LOL
I am not big on the imports,But the numbers puts this car in pretty respectful company.I mean if your into performance,This car will demand respect.
That statement I will agree with....in fact I was just discussing the Japs respect/pride yesterday and how this country could use it.......now back on topic...rice...I mean GT-R discussion..:thumb:
the numbers are good...and i will give it credit for being up there...its just not for me is all i guess... like i said i dont mean to be a jerkface here haha...i just am not nissans biggest fan since my Maxima...no hard feelings right buddy :friends: psh...it can do it! hahaha
i can say that at least some of those electronics's are made in NY and Vermont! haha...i know...i work where they are made!
OK. I'm converted. While I'm not totally impressed by its looks, there is ZERO doubt that the GT-R kicks asz in every racing arena. Wow. I would consider this car if I had that kind of money. BTW: being a current Nissan owner (2004 Murano), I can say that we truly like our Nissan. No major problems other than brake pad replacement and tires after around 50,000 miles. I've even drag raced a few ricers in the Murano... and won! Wife tried egging-on a black Ferrari this afternoon in it, my mom riding shotgun... the Ferrari didn't take the bait... lucky for him!
