I know it's nothing compared to the time most of you guy's run but, the girlfriend finally broke out of the very low 13's yesterday. My car is pretty well stock. I do have a aria, corsa and no cats and ran the 91 canned tune. I was running the nitto 420's on rear and the f1 on front. Without changing heads and cam what can i do to keep the 12's? I have the underdrive and kooks LT's waiting to get installed. What do you guy's think? Would some nitto 555 help or would i run into axle snappage ? She was sooo happy to get into the 12's. Well so was i. Any help or tips? here is her slip,

Yeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaw. Congrats on joining the 12's club.

You will need upgraded 1/2 shafts if you want to run DR's, but yes, DR's will keep you in the 12's.

Thanks my friend! I thought so. the reason i want to leave the heads and cam is because one of the trucks may perhaps go to a new home and if i decide its a go then a 44o will be going in. So i just wanna work around that situation. Would a 08 chally set up work or should i go with the dss 1000 hp and what ever else i may need.
    Thanks bad 4 dr!

Go with the Paramount (Builder Bill) axles. I understand they are the cream of the crop? lol

You will still need heads and cam if you go with a stroker motor.

Thanks guys for the help. Ya, she needs to work on her times a bit. She is starting drag racing school in august. They approached her after watching her do a few passes.Hopefully that gives her some better times and a little edge. But more importantly..........we have the fastest LX in our little club right now. Some braging rights! Well for her anyways! lol :king:

You are the reason I suggested the Paramounts.

Congrats on getting into the 12's. I know it is a good feeling finally breaking that barrier. I hears some guys are having good luck with the 09 RT axles. A local guy just had them installed. So far, I haven't heard of any problems with them.
