I just got some new software and DV camcorder and decided to put together a video of some of my races from this past summer. I literally had to dub from the TV using my new DV camcorder becasue the camera man (my father) uses an ancient VHS camera and my emac does not support the software to upload VHS to the PC. Some of the race scenes are shaky but not too bad for a novice 70 year old man out in the sun for 4 hours shooting races. Enjoy........... [/IMG] Many, Many new videos (good quality) to come with the 2008 racing season approaching. If anyone knows how to adjust the video on photobucket to stop the pausing please let me know I am very new to the video thing!
Gotta say Kayce, those were awesome!!! Can't wait until you get the new high quality vids..wow, they must know you've got one badass truck by now lol...I mean, the Lingenfelter Vette(s) were quick but talk about launching lol....good job! I think it's cool that your Pops goes and videos too.
Thanks Milan, this season will be alot better with the new mods, camera with "Mono-tripod" to help the Pops get a steady shot . Yeah my Mom & Dad go when they can, in actuallity they have harassed me several times to go to events that I didn't want to attend.....LOL.
Thats awesome. Nothing like family supporting one of your passions. Can't wait to see how it runs with the new setup!
I'm also really looking at the GS/Mondello Stage II setup. Did you go with the Stage 1, 2 or 3 Kayce?
Milan, I went with the StageII set up, it has all the little extra (making quote signs with both hands) "Do-Dads" and coatings compared to the stageI. I really like the aspect of leaving the cam alone and just doing the heads, Steve did it last year with the GS/CMW heads and intake and got good gains, and according to Steve's recent new numbers these out perform the old GS heads & intake. I'm excited to put it mildly! :thumb2: Give Steve a PM and he will answer all your questions.
Thanks Kayce. I have been meaning to speak to Steve about this as well. I know a service tech would be oblivious to the heads and intake unless they were opened but oooooooooo isn't it sooo tempting to add that mild cam and keep it driveable and make things work so much better?
Yeah... it is something I have thought about the "mild cam", my dealership is doing the install and will still warranty everything except the engine for the last year of my warranty even if I add a cam, But I'll run the heads this summer and then possibly next summer a cam. To get mid to lower 12's with this set up will keep me a very, very happy boy this summer
