Inital thoughts is that the converter took a metallic dump inside the trans. Won't know for sure until the converter folks tear apart this unit...
Original one was fine when removed. This one is (or was) a pro-torque.
update - Installer pulled the trans pan and the filter was caked with metal bits! Jeep has 6500 grandpaw miles on it. Will be interesting to see...

update- Went out to crank it this morning and idle was real rough and it kept dying. I could only keep it running if I help rpms around 1.5-2k....

ya, shifter moves fine and the dash shows its in the appropriate gear, but it never engages to move the jeep. So if it was actually low on fluid...
