And could not have done it any sooner. Right after installing it I took it out to see what the Jeep was running at WOT and WOW 11.1 at WOT in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear OUCH:blush:!!!!
I'm gonna take off the B&G CMR tune and see if Dave and I can get back together and finally get this nailed down now that I have my A/F guage and datalogger all setup:good:

Did you verify it's hunting aroung 14.7:1 during normal driving? That's the quickest/easiest way to verify the gauge has been properly calibrated. 11.1:1 is good news. It means you've got a lot more power available by leaning it out to 12.8:1.

You can do that on your own if you have a Predator.

Glad you got it all hooked up and running Wade but whats with the install? Come on man, I thought you would have done a little cleaner install than that...lol. I'm just bustin your chops but why not at least make a flat plate that fits in that cubby hole then mount it flush.

Wade, how are you doing on knock retard? I've been wrestling with that and can't seem to get rid of it (maybe it's just that Chevron gas that Ron recommended :drugs:). I got my afr tweaked to 12.7:1 through the entire rpm range and see constant KR through a WOT pass. It generally stays under 5 and tapers off to 1.5 or 2 towards the upper part of the gears but it never just drops to zero after a shift like it did stock (come to think of it I never checked afr for the stock tune -- have to do that). So I tried pulling timing up to about 5* and it came down a bit but not a huge difference. I tried 12.2:1 afr and no difference. Then tried pulling timing again up to 4* retard with no real difference. Raised another question. Do you go fuel first and then timing or both together when working on knock?

Keep us posted (hopefully I can learn something).

I'm gonna do some testing tonight, I have 2 more tunes I can try from Dave this was one back from Nov last year. I need to do a stock run, canned 91 run and the last B&G run, log and review still. I know guys like Cobrakid and BTLEFED seem to understand where and how to make the correct adjustments

I added 8 5 and 5 and only see 1.5-2 max near shifts. The stock tune should get similar KTR from what I've heard on a stock vehicle.

Yeah if its 2 or under you really doing okay so if your only seeing 1.5-2 up near the shift that is not bad
Just got back from running the predators 91CAI tune and alot better it was 12.2-12.3 at WOT in 2nd and 3rd

Muellge, Welcome to the Connection. Now I know what you needed in that PM. That is an AEM wideband. Check with MOES he is a vendor on here that sells them. The SRT cover is custom made if you want one I have an extra just let me know when you have ordered the guage. Hey introduce yourself to the rest of the site and tell us about your SRT

Custom cover? Very good. I'd be glad to take that off of your hands on your term$.

I'm from New Orleans. Black 07 Jeep, with Volant, ported and coated intake manifold, SHR ported heads and cam, Kooks Jethot coated headers, B&B high flow cats, stock catback, front and rear Addco swaybars with Bwoody links, 4500k Oracle low beam headlamps from AAC, Palella color matched mouldings, Mattco centercaps and steering wheel center, white interior LEDs, billet catch can, billet shifter, kicker speaker/amp upgrade with 10" kicker sub, Kramsey tow hitch, Vreds 275 front/315 rear. Custom tune - now I need Wideband A/F to keep an eye on the mix. Haven't dynoed the new heads and cam yet, so the A/F will help with that as well.

Frequent lurker/poster on the red site, but have also heard good things about this one. Seeing your A/F gauge pics is good evidence of same. Thanks for the information. Will visit the A/F vendor you mentioned tomorrow am on the web or phone and get one of those coming my way. Now where to mount it. I'd really like above the steering column, but the wallet cubby is pretty good, too.
