Nope. No Turbo. I think it has like 360-365HP at the crank, and a 6 speed tranny.

 

I love how the camera man thought the reactio ntime was the 60' time. Not bad for an assumed stock car.

 

Looked shitty from the rear and did not sound like the ET it turned...:thongue2:

 

Just read a write-up in Motor Trend where they put it up against an R/T. It beat the R/T but only ran a 13.8 @ 102.8 to the R/T's 14.1 @ 102. The G8 has 361hp/385tq & weighs in at 4096lbs. Base price $29,995 & Pontiac has hinted that they may produce a tuned V8 version with an M6 tranny.

13.8 to 13.1 is quite a leap, my money says this one is tuned/modded.

 

Three runs, one stock, one tuned one with 100 shot...it is a pretty quick car.

i really liked these cars until a GM dealer told my friend not to bother getting one cause it wouldnt be worth his money....

i would like to know the reasoning behind that statement...
