First problem is watching the Clinton News Network (CNN).

Second is this could only happen in Liberal America.

These so called parents should have been........ well I can't print what should have been done.

    The story is...

This 11 year old girl had Type 1 Diabetes...needed to see a Dr...but her parents...instead of taking her to a dr when she REALLY NEEDED IT...decided they were just gonna pray instead...and she died...

They are all bais in some way...so it just depends on which way you like lol...CNN just happens to be on in the hallways where i work so i saw it and pulled it out from the website

I dont want any news networks cause they are all BS anyways...ESPN BABY! lol

From what I've read, and yes this story is personal to me (Have had Type I diabetes for over 26 years), the parents apparently didn't pick up on the fact that being constantly thirsty, frequent bathroom trips and drastic weight loss might be a bad thing. According to the findings of the coroner, she would've been showing these symptoms for as much as six months, but the parents, GENIUSES, didn't notice anything wrong until she started going in and out of coma over the last few days. Every year a handful of juvenile diabetics die like this and it just pisses me off!

Yeah, diabetes is a lifetime chronic disease and it means shots and blood tests and lots of trips to the doctor, but its SOOO freakin' treatable. Not only that, the technology they have now is light years better than when I was diagnosed.

Above all this though, and believe me I know from many many nights of praying for a cure, that prayer does NOT cure diabetes.

Sorry...just makes me really really mad because this is REALLY REALLY REALLY stupid. :chair:

REALLY STUPID! Unfortunately very similar things occur with other diseases or traumas where blood transfusions are warranted. I say ship them all to Antarctica in their underwear and let em pray for warmth.

bar them from water and food and then have them pray to jesus to give them nourishment. see if they die or jesus answers their prayers.

Death by diabetes is a slow miserable way to die. Basically your cells starve to death, because there's no insulin to get the sugar to them from your blood stream. At the same time, your blood stream is loaded with sugar which rips up your capillaries, nerve endings and kidneys.

If this happened to a dog the 2 people would be in jail, but only here in America do have laws that protect animals better than children!!! Pisses me off to no extent:blowup:

While this is very tragic there is a joke that relates to this issue...

There was a major flood and a man climbed up on the roof of his house to escape the flood waters.he prayed for Christ to rescue him...a boat came by and the people in it offered to make room for him..the man refused saying that his faith would save him....

A helocoptor came by and tried to get him and again he refused help insisting God would help him....

Another boat came by and offered to rescue him...again he insisted God would save him....

Unfortunely the flood washed the house and man away drowning him....as he entered the pearly gates he asked Jesus why he did not save him from the flood waters..

Jesus replied....I sent 2 boats and a helocopter...

Ignorant people. Prayer is a wonderful thing. As long as there is action behind that prayer. For example, If I am praying for my lung cancer to go away, I have to quit smoking. You cant pray for something, then just sit on your ass expecting it to happen unless you take some sort of right action towards that prayer.
Those parents should be put in jail.

i love that joke. its not that i dont believe in god, its that i think others were sent in his stead in times of our need.
