Man I can not figure it out for the life of me. One day my car runs 11.706 at 120 with a 1.9 60 foot (91 tune)then at the track today with a race gas tune, I ran 12.2 at 115 with a 1.9. the 100octane tune makes about 40 more hp and 45 more torque then the old 91 tune. I know I raced at diffrent tracks but I mean a half a second and 5 miles thats crazy. The tune is not pulling any timing. I have no clue whats going on. How can one 426 run 11.02 and mine run 12.2. I want to know WHY?:stars: (please dont say its because of the air. NO way in hell is the air making a 1.2 second differance.) I also know they get a .3 better launch but thats about .7 in the quarter. Sorry for my ranting. I just want to go fast!!!
Actually the air makes up a lot of that time. The 60' makes up another portion. When the air is negative 2000 feet, that is HUGE.
12.2@115 ???? I ran a 12.83@108 @ SAC..... You have traction problems buddy. Get the boys at Ditos to check that posi unit and or a dealership, me thinks it's FUBAR... But the beast sure sounded good on the Dyno last night, and BTW nice blacked out grill and BT Bling
Need all of the weather info and what Infinion's elevation is. Usually you can go to the track's website and they should have all of that info for you. Some even have the corrected DA posted. 4pm, man that is the worst time to run. That is when the track and weather are at their warmest points. And yes, different tracks will effect ET's and Traps. Come up here to ABQ. lol You will lose at least a FULL second. haha
Hey Ron,,, if this helps 4:00 PM Partly Cloudy 62°F temp dew point humidity visibility pressure wind 62°F 49°F 62% 10.0miles 30.15inches W14mph
You should be able to knock at least 1.8's if not better with those Nittos. Sounds like you need a new driver :harhar: J/K bro!
