As some of you know my truck got broken into a few weeks back. After all is said and done I'm going to have $1000-$1500 to play with. Should I go with:

    1. 90mm Throttle Body (I need this if I'm going to add an I-Charger later...right?
    2. Pedders Full Bush Kit (Front and Back)
    3. Hi-Flow Cats, and DHM Cutouts

With 1 and 3 I would get a CMR tune as well.

You'll get the most power out of the throttle body, I believe. You'll just need a CMR tune to go with it! So make sure you get that also, otherwise, you'll go into limp mode (not that you haven't been there before). Although the cats and cutouts would give a little more power, but also change the sound! Hmmmmm. If it was me, I'd do throttle body!

Oops. Just saw that you said you'd get a CMR tune with 1 and 3. I'll shut the hell up now.....

    Tuff call RICKY!

I believe your more a suspension guy. I would be interested to see if they have a PEDDERS AUTHORIZED DEALER here in San Diego. If they do, do they have a car you could test drive!

I would check into the HP gains vs. cost! The throttle body we could probably do. The cats and E-cutouts would cost to install. Maybe Drew could do the electrical..............................................

I don't see how you could lose. Does anyone have the TB yet, so they could answer your questions?

I have a guy who can install the hi-flows at a good price with quality work. Usually the bar on the underside will have to be removed. And you know what extra ponies they give.

Cool! Since your working on that I will get cracking on the cutouts. They just sound "TOO BADASS" to not get them.

What happened to the new stereo for the truck?!?!

True. Just ask Moe. Plus, they add a little rumble.

For once, I agree with Ryan, that corksucker... they do sound BADass!

Rick, overall, what are the ultimate goals? I-Charger? Then get the TB. Follow my logic?!?!

Good luck following that LOGIC, Ricky! You'd have a better chance following a blind donkey to a donkey show in Tijuana. Hey, maybe you could hookup with Luis............................

Also: I assume that the Pedders are a good product, but, has anyone with the KW/Hotchkis setup checked their bushings for wear and tear?!?! the upgraded bushings MIGHT not be a NEED right now.

IMO, you just ruled out the TB. I can't imagine it being, "NECESSARY" for the I-Charger! In the long haul and time between getting the I-Charger you could enjoy the heck out of the tune/high flow cats & cutouts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't remember where I saw it but I seem to remember that the 90mm TB is necessary for the I-Charger. Maybe one of the 10 lb motor brains will chime in here shortly!

I think a full Pedder's bushing set + installation will be out of that price range. I believe the parts alone are just north of $1800.

High-flow cats are definitely worth it.

The 90mm throttle body will add power, but its just so damned expensive...

What are you thinking? go with 2. Maybe you don't get the full kit right now but you could do the ones that give the most bang now with plans to finish it in the future.

How often and how much do you enjoy driving the twisties?
How often and how much do you enjoy going to the drag strip?
How often do you drag race on the street?
How often does Momo beat you in either kind of race?

    You do the math.
