i know im gonna make alot of enemies on this one but i just joined a certain corvette forum (gathering intel on c6 convertibles) and already i can tell im not going to be liked. a friend of mine who OWNS a friggin corvette is shunned by all those guys just cuz he's a younger guy. no pre-judgement here but i dont think my scat related posts and pics will be welcomed with mouths....err arms wide open.

 

They'll get over it... if not just slap 'em around a little till they come around!

 

Well no enemy here bro, sounds like a good idea to me. I like just about every car out there (cept for those damn Priuseseseseseses), I have no strong allegiance to any one brand. I love em all!! I like Vette's too, I mean what's not to like?!?! A 400+ horse 2 seat pure sports car for a little over $40K, GM is doing something right these days. My neighbor's got a black C6 and it's sweet!

Being a Vette owner, I will say most Vette sites are filled with dicks and ass-holes. And, not the kind of dicks and ass-holes YOU like, Markus. LOL!

The 'Vette crowd is definately unique.

I've had the "priveledge" of hanging out with the a local Corvette club on a few occasions. One instance sticks out in my mind particularly. The Vette club had a cruise through downtown Chattanooga, then on into Georgia to the Chickamauga Battlefield. The cruise ended at a BBQ Joint near there. There was probably 30 'Vettes in the parking lot. Some kid (probably high school age) was rolling through the lot admiring all the 'Vettes. The PRESIDENT of this club, made some smart-ass remark about the kids Honda and told him to take his POS home. I thought that was TOTALLY tasteless. I mean the dude was admiring the cars, he wasn't revving his 1.6L of fury trying to stir up the pot. What suprised me the most, was it seemed the majority of crowd agreed with his sly remark. I thought he was a f*cking puddle of panty waste myself . . .

That instance alone has "shunned" me from buying a Vette. I was actually "Vette shopping" when I decided on the SRT10. :grin:

 

IF i buy one, theres no rules that say i have to hang out with those guys. still keepin the 300 too so i can hang out with all you assclowns

 

Absolutely not. I love Vettes. Wish I had a C6 Z06. But I'd also like to know what they do to keep up with SRT-8's.
