They still do them, but no return credit, so you get the painted tails for $500 and replace your stockers with them. They look a lot better than the stick on stuff, and the body matching is a nice touch.
Yep, in fact I shipped my stockers to them for credit and Ron sent me his stockers in case of tickets. So I have a piece of 1BAD4DR in my laundry closet.
Yeah, I'm slowly easing Marc into the idea of me getting a Challenger. I'm thinking once I have a job again he'll warm right up. He's already saying I should track sales to see how they're selling and when prices go down to snap one up.
I was hoping my modding would be significantly less this year cause I like my car the way it is but after SpringFest, all bets are off. My wife's not happy. :mad2:
Wanna Be EQ Member! There's a lot of Ron in the closet....but those who are close to him know he SHOULD be coming out at anytime!!! hehe
Yeah, SF is evil like that. I want a predator and billet tech and stuff now, but worst of all I WANT a challenger. LOL! I figured you'd make something of that. I used to have one of his OEM wheels in the garage, but he needed it back. :harhar:
The wife needs a new car soon and it'll probably be a small SUV so the Chally is out of the question for now. I swore I wouldn't put 22's on my car but I am in LOVE with these new wheels. They will be mine!!!! :viking:
tam - love the pics!!! also loved the pics of the SF from two years ago!!! isn't rons car one of the "plain" black cars in that pic?????
Yep, the one on the right. That's Meister and Trojan chasing me on the turn a couple of photos below.
Its been nearly 5 years since she rolled off the line and into my heart, and she still takes my breath away when all the crud and dust and pollen comes off. I've decided that its not that I dislike the new Chargers, its just that my heart belongs to the one I already own, as nutty as that sounds. Just a thought today while getting her washed at Ron's old place of employment. Oh and all the double-takes I get driving around town from guys in Corvettes, Mustangs, and pick-up trucks, hahahaha!
In honor her 5th birthday (10/27) and our 5th anniversary (11/15), thought I'd add these pictures taken for the AOL Autos article I was in back in August. She's still the single most awesome purchase I've ever made, the best car I've been privileged to drive and though I may sometimes long for a Challenger SRT, she'll always be my number one choice.
Five years since I first brought her home and parked her outside my apartment. I'm still just as happy as I was that day.
