Jason....you have until 9pm to get all your questions answered before I delete this thread. LOL For all those that don't know....Jason's mother is in town this week. Mrs. Jason is NOT going to be confrontational with the mother-in-law in town! I'll ask you a day or so after your mom leaves if you want me to resurrect this thread!! Hehe
90mm T/B is just the beginning.@ 1k then you need to machine your intake. No clue how much that costs..
Sorta true... well, its really true... but I swear I'm gonna invest a bit into my beast! Suspension is a given, but I'd want it all done at once... hopefully get a better price and get it all outta the way. Well, that sounds costly... unless its a highly suggested thing to go along with whatever else I'll do, it may wait. How much is a 426 stroker? Gotta be $10K +.
jason - go with the kw v1's...... if you want to be real low!!!!! as for power - go with a head and cam....... power 24/7 and will be good for the power you are looking for!!!
IF.....and that is a BIG IF....Jason does end up getting coilovers....and they are lower than mine....I'm going to take a baseball bat to all the lights and slash 3 out of 4 tires.....WEEKLY!!!!
dahahahahahahahahaha talk about feeling butt hurt....... its ok rick, you can always go out and adjust the knob on your v2's....... does that make you feel better now???? hehehhehehe
Jason, You aren't going to do "SHIT" to your car. Why are you wasting everyone's time with this thread? I take that back several people did ask you where you bought the Mopar License Plate Frame...............:secret:
Rick, if you're into the KW1 look...maybe we can work something out on a trade...I haven't installed mine yet but I don't want to be all gangsta gangsta low either lol. A bit lower is ok...slammed? um, nah.
Really... yet another pipe dream. It's like the whack-a-mole game. Momo, if you're going to mod on a budget go first class and do less mods. Stuff like "I saw a lot of Toyos at the SF, and they're cheaper..." ain't going to do it for you. You might as well buy Michelin X's and paint "Vredestein" on the sidewalls -- same type of satisfaction. Heads and cam? no. Wife is still going to drive it right? Nitrous? Get real. Like you bought a season pass for the track right? and the wife... You'd spend all your time wringing your hands thinking she might flip the switch downtown. And I'D worry about YOU fliping the switch downtown. KW's and Vredesteins. You have a predator right? If not, get one. Spend the rest of the 3 or 4 large for power to get it fully pedderized (I think they got their own sways) and give yourself a quality thrill.
Wow Rick who pissed in your cornflakes this morning?? We are all here trying to help Jason out and here you are being jealous. Go back to your desk.
Fuck Jason....oh, and by the way....I only have 10 more days behind a desk. AND, I still have more time in the box than you do!!! hehe
Another thing to think about is headers...I don't know if you'd even consider them though since you're in California. If you're doing heads and cam then headers should be done at the same time and not later or that would make for a pricey install. 3-4 grand. I'd recommend this if you want to go NA.. A nice cam, ported/polished intake, hi-flow cats (I'll probably sell mine soon) and a custom tune. Then you still have some left over for the KW suspension. You'll be happy for another year and then think about where you want to go next. Our heads flow nicely and the headers do as well so leaving them out of the equation will not make you an unhappy camper at this time...and you have a good base to start with...one that encompasses some go-fast parts (enough to blow the doors off the rest of the EQ) and a trick suspension that will keep you right with them in the twisties. As for the track...it's worth a nice Saturday or Friday drive to find a quarter mile track that isn't as busy. I drive just shy of 2 hrs to get to my home track in St. Thomas even though Milan dragway is less than an hour away in Michigan. I do think I'll be going to Grand Bend Motorplex this year though as that's only an hour and a half away and is a better complex. But at least I can do hotlaps if I want and it is also an NHRA Sanctioned track. You NEED to get on the track...you'll love it...and it can fall under the moniker of your new hobby! Racing cars. How can the wife put you down for wanting a hobby you'd have a passion for in a safe and responsible way? lol...again, you could have much "worse" hobbies hehehehe
