My car got its first taste of the Predator.

Well I have been running the last year with no tuning so I finally decided it was time to step up to a Predator and some CMR tuning. The last time the car was at the dyno it made 601rwhp/606rwtq on 150 shot DP. My car has a two stage set-up with a single fogger jetted small for the first stage and then my DP with the bigger shot for the second stage. Since going to the two stage set-up I haven't had a chance to run both kits. I have just been running off the DP. Well after a few little adjustments by Scott at GS with the Predator and CMR software we laid down some numbers with the first stage only, and jetted to 50hp. The car made 555rwhp/582rwtq! I almost fell over! Next up was to run both stages. Scott made a couple adjustments, and started up the next dyno run. Just as he gets the car into 4th and ready to make his pull, he stabs it and the first kit comes on, as soon as he hits the second kit the car just blows the tires off on the dyno! It was getting a little late so we decided to call it a day. I am more then happy with the results thus far, and I have no doubt the car should just be an absolute beast with the both kits on! I want to thank Scott at GS for staying late and finding the HP this car has been missing. I would also like to send a huge thank you to Force Fed Performance in Sacramento, Ca who has pretty much put this whole beast together, and taken it back apart, and put it back together again, and to Terry and the rest of the crew at Nitrous Pro Flow who built my beautiful DP system and supplied me with all my other nitrous goodies!

EDIT: And how could I forget Mr.1bad4dr himself. He came through for me BIG time in a pinch with some very hard to come by tone rings....You are the man buddy! Next time we meet up steak and lobster dinner on me!

Hopefully I can hit the track soon and see what she can do!

The set up is:
395ci Fully Studded Motor, ported heads, Extrude Honed intake manifold, FRI cam, Nitrous Pro Flow single fogger kit and direct port kit, Kooks L/Ts, Magnaflow cat back, Precision 3200 stall, Quaife LSD, DSS Axles, and of course CMR Tune by Scott at GS.

 

Trust me if this beast goes 10s I am dedicating that run to you!

JMatt: Weather I break your record or not, nothing can even compare right now to your amazing times with a stock 6.1L. You my brother are doing your thing, and doing it well! My hats off to you!

Hal: I know, I know. I am glad I went and got it done. I think I might shoot for Saturday, but we will see. 10.70s @ 130 would be awesome, but I would be more then happy with a 10.99! As for the nitrous, no problem man! Glad I could help. I even had some DRs for Ron, but some people didn't bring their balls with them...LOL J/K Ron!

Yeah steak and lobster for the Ron's only....well and maybe Hal if he wants to come...LOL!
