Here's part of our IM conversation about the fastest color: (01:27:41 PM) KEVAN: Hey. KEVAN: In the visible spectrum of light, which color travels fastest? ASTRO: no color travels faster than another ASTRO: it's all the same stuff, the only difference is the energy ASTRO: in the visible spectrum, red light has the lowest energy, and violet light has the highest ASTRO: the way that different colors of light have different energies, but still travel at the same speed, is that the energy is bound up in the light's frequency ASTRO: red light has a low frequency compared to violet light KEVAN: What about Black? ...and pure white? ASTRO: black is the absence of light ASTRO: so, effectively, black travels as fast as light ASTRO: *pure* white light is more or less a collection of photons of various frequencies, those composing the full visible spectrum KEVAN: So, it's the color's relative energy that is more/less than the other colors? ASTRO: yeah ASTRO: radio waves (photons very much less energetic than red light) and gamma rays (photons very much more energetic than violet light) all travel at the same speed, even though radio waves pass right through your body, and gamma rays will give you cancer KEVAN: Ok. KEVAN: I guess this settles the "fastest color" debates. ASTRO: lol

Silver is the slickest and quickest and is composed of the "climax" reached when black and white meet up and bang each other. That is all.

They do, haven't you seen the "ricer" line of tires that have different tread colors?? Red, yellow, blue, etc. ... thought you'd know all about them since they're all the "colors of the rainbow" Lol!
I've seen the ones with the little colored 1" stripe on the tread pattern. But never any with the whole tire a color other than black. The only rice I like is with my Sweet & Sour Chicken. :grin: "colors of the rainbow"? Is that a Skittle joke, or an alternative lifestyle reference? (TIP: If someone has to ask about your joke, it didn't go over well. LOL)

Yeah, I don't think it is a coinsidence that the SR-71 is black . . . Same goes for the reason that the bottom of the space shuttle is black. The F-117A "Stealth" Bomber is black too. . .
