Thats what all the big hp jeeps sound like. Winstons turbo jeep sounds the same way. It sounds like it slips between gears like the converter doesnt lock up fully.
Rich We are working on a manifold port that REALLY works. The current manifold only flows 290cfm talk about a restriction. Anyway that is next. Then the 426.......and the ICharger with a 100 shot. Who needs a cam?!?!?!?!?!
The E55 puts down more power to the wheels than the Jeep. I really think the tranny is more bullet proof than many are giving it credit. I have not heard of any going away from a performance weakness.
Yaaaa, that's what I'm talking about! I'm gonna be the driver of the fastest Jeep known to man! WOOHOO! :towel:
Steve there is no HoP/PPP car. There is 2 all HOP GC's neither 1 has dyno'd neither one is finished. HoP does not collaborate on builds. HoP may by parts from other vendors but these are not co -collaborated builds. HoP builds all there own cars. Congrats though bro for running the fastest so far. But this market has just begun, Stay real tuned bro!
after witnesing first hand your controll of the car, i have no doubt that steve will want you in the drivers seat on a full time basis!!! kudos to you tam for a great performance!!!!:good:
chris - i think he meant the vendors as seperate entities, but when i re-read the post, i see how it can be read as if it were talking about collaborations. all i can say, is that i was pretty damn impressed with most all the cars out there, regardless of builders. the lx platform has some pretty damn good builders in all of you and i am thrilled to see you guys try and out do each other. this is how we ALL benefit!!! btw, it was great to see you again and loved checking out that badazz ride of yours!!!! whatever happened to the "legmakered" srt wheels??? lol
Thank you very much! It feels good to get back into racing again. Hopefully it can be my career one day
Reply I see another Ashley Force on the horizon. Go for it Tamara. I love to see women that are into racing. My wife and I are going to Atco Raceway for a track rental on March 25th and she is going to drive her TB SS. She has already turned a 12.80 @ 104.34 and the trans was starting to go south. And she is going to be 70 tomorrow. She isn't around so I can tell her age. LOL Rich SO GO FOR IT TAMARA, GO FOR IT.
Oh man, that's awesome!! Honestly, I really hope I can do it, just need to find that one poor ol sap that wants to sponsor me! :deshade:
Chris, SanDiego SRT8 states he has a PPP/HOP LX and Jeep. He and I had a friendly challenge. I later found out he had just nitrous on the Jeep. I guess he needs to change his sig! Thanks btw for the compliment! ......but I respectfully disagree about the market being young. We are actually late with our head development compared to everyone else. Oh, and trust me I'm staying real tuned!!!:thumb3: You guys are just up the street!! Does this mean you and Cam arent going to invite me to Sacramento any more????:crying:
Hey there Steve, First and foremost. Congrats on the times !!!!!!! Damn man, you really ripped shyt up out there, well atleast your car did. :shifty: Second, my sig states "Powered by PPP & H.O.P" simply because that is exactly what my car is. I bought the parts from PPP and Josh @ H.O.P. <------- (a mechanical genius) is installing and fine tuning everything for me. I feel damn lucky and proud to have both PPP & H.O.P. involved in my cars one way or the other. I will continue to use both PPP & H.O.P for my cars, and until one or the other asks me not to do so, I will continue to refer to my rides as being "powered by PPP & H.O.P" As for our friendly competition, you kicked my arse !!! Hats off to you bro. I didn't want to start making excuses about me not having my parts installed in time to race you. A challenge is a challenge. I do want to apologize to PPP and H.O.P for a bad showing, due to my inability to get the necessary parts installed in time to handle you, but like you said, there will be the event at Cal. Speedway. You can bet your ass I will be ready for you and the 426. Again, congrats to you and your camp. A classy win for a classy guy.
Hell Know Steve! your always welcome with us. :beerchug: Competition makes us strive for more, Its good for the market and good for Business. R&D is under development as we speak. Things are just starting to get exciting for the 3rd gen Hemi crowd. This year is just getting going. I expect to see alot of new products real soon. You rolling Sat to Fontana?
Hey my friend total misunderstanding. I thought you had some heads and a tune. The guys at PPP are total stand up and I take my hat off to them for driving all the way out to Southern California. Of course HOP has shown their hard work and innovation as well. Well I guess we will just have to wait until this weekend for you to bring that old Jeep out! Thanks for the compliment bro, and dont forget if you miss the 405 off ramp in Huntington Beach, just keep going until you get to Telegraph Rd off the 605!!! :thumb2:
Ok, here is the deal. I will remove my sig. After looking at it, I can definately see how it looks as if there is a collaboration of PPP & H.O.P. I guess after reading my first post, it was pretty self explanatory, I bought the parts from PPP and H.O.P. is installing and fine tuning them (the Charger only). That is it. To clarify things, Josh @ H.O.P. has not touched my Jeep, so it would be unfair for me to state that it is powered by H.O.P. Again, my apologies. Sarge, this doesn't mean that our friendly competition is off. I am still gunning for you dude. Just like Trojan said, competition keeps us striving for more. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you on the modding. See ya soon buddy.
