The timming depends on what shot you are running,However there is a chart in the instructions of the Zex kit.Basically no timming needs to be pulled anything under 100.For a 100 shot it is 2 degrees pulled back. The outlet plat is great however i have found
that the jets they call for a 100 is really like a 117 shot.Dont ask me why.I would run 46/24 jets for the 100 shot .Very safe IMO..That is what I run..

They all calculate at the wheels, In my opinion that is the dumbest thing I have seen. Different vehicles have different drivetrain loss, they should all calculate at the flywheel as most vehicles are within a few % of parastatic loss.

My CMR tune actually has more timing and than the can tune that came with my Predator. The jet sizes that Nitrous outlet gives are very fat, they recommend 62/38 for the 150shot and I ended up going with 62/29 for a 10.9-11.2 A/F ratio. Gradually lean it out and read your plugs after every pass if you dont have access to a wideband.

BTW- I picked up 125RWHP with the 62/29 Jets on my setup

Well got it installed..all is good..Question though...My bootle pressure for the first 5 or so times I sprayed was under 600psi and that was with the bottle heater on...I ran the Nitrous Outlet 100 shot jets 54 N20 and fuel 33..I think ..And first hit was strong but then I could feel it flutter I thought fuel jet was maybe to rich but some one pointed out with that low of bottle pressure was why it was fluttering...So I went to Zex 125 shot 52 N20 and 26 fuel and it never seemed to flutter...But I also noticed my bottle pressure getting back up to the 800+ range..Does anybody think maybe the bottle pressure being to low caused the fluttering with the Nitrous Outlet jets?

Low bottle pressure will not work as well with any type of plate or nozzle set-up..

It seems like your temps were very cold and you didnt give the bottle heater enough time to reach 900+psi. How long did you start spraying after you armed the nitrous and turned the bottle heater on?

I for got to mention...lol..the first 5-6 times I sprayed the bottle heater was not strapped it was just sort of laying on bottle...Once i straped it properly imy pressure went up to around 800...To answere your question I would spray between 5-10 min after I would turn the bottle on...I checked bottle today to go play around and it took like ten min to get too 750psi range BUT bottle was pretty much empty..When i sprayed it hit for maybe 2 seconds and i felt it go flat ...I checked bottle pressure when I was done and it showed around 400psi but I know it was pretty much empty...maybe i need to get a gauge to see how full it is?

The pressure guage will tell you how full it is..Basically turn your heater on.When its 950 your ready to rock and roll.FYI Anything about or above 1000psi the Zex will NOT work.It is a built in saftey feature

Yup - found that out the hard way. I keep mine at 950 to make sure the ZEX fires.

In cold weather like this, it may take 45 minutes to heat up a bottle. Oh - and the way to see how full your bottle is, is to weigh it.

Thanks guys...Thinking about the Zex inline N2o pressure regulator...Also the Nitrous Outlet jets were bigger than the Zex..Once I get my bottle pressure up ,do you think I should try the Nitrous outlet jets?
