    Gentleman,
I have yet another boring question for you all. A couple months back the dealer had to remove my front passenger inner wheel well cowling to attached the antenna cable to the antenna, due to the cable magically falling off one day.
Well I noticed this morning that those brilliant technicians at the dealership didn't bother to use new cowling snaps (thats what I call them) and as a result most of them have fallen out. The cowling is just hanging there by a snap or two.
I was wondering if anyone here has replaced their snaps and if so where did you get new ones? I am a bit hesitant to bring the car back to the dealership for this issue. I rather do it myself.

You can buy a box of them at the auto parts store. Take one in and match it up.

That was my next move. After giving the dealer an ear full of course.

From my experience once those things are taken out they never snap back in snug like they were from the factory, I would get new ones from the dealer or use the locking clips that slide on both sides of the fender well with one side having threads and use a screw the hold it in place. Funny that they had to remove the fender well, all they had to do was open the passenger side door and right in the corner of the door where it meets the frame is some foam insulation that pulls right out and you have access to where the antenna hooks up, what idiots

I agree totally. I am not happy about it either.
I was going to remove the one rivet hanging there and buy a new box at the store. They are just plastic rivets and get pushed in with your thumb.
As for accessing the antenna cable I didn't see any room in the door area to push that cable up thru the fender to attach it to the antenna. The problem was the cable came loose from the antenna base and fell down the wheel well.

I think the correct terms for those fastners are scrivets and bonnet clips

Mine did the same thing but with a little redneck ingenuity plus a dismantled coat hanger and one episode of McGuiver and I had mine back in place, problem is all that damn foam wrapped in plastic inside the fender well

NAPA Auto Parts has a whole selection of clips like these. I bought the factory ones online - but later found that NAPA had them.

Called the dealership looking for the push pin/rivet or whatever that holds that little plastic faring on under the car right by the front jack point (Magnum). "Oh, I'll have to special order those. How many do you want?". "Well, how much could they cost? I should probably order a small bag of them". "Umm, they're $5 apiece". "Yikes!, ok, nevermind, I'll make something else work"

The idiots at the dealer ship ordered me a new set for free and are installing them today at no cost. As they should.
