We have a SKITTLE down!!

thats sux man rip them a new ass my skittle is an 04 with 40,000 and it just started poppin out of gear when i down shift into 3rd and it grinds going into third if i take it above 5,000 rpm in 2nd. I took it to the dealer and they said that there is nothing wrong with my tranny. so i am gonna wait until the damn thing locks up and tell them to come get it. i have the 7yr-70,000 manufacture powertrain warr. and i also bought a 5 yr-100,000 mi bumper to bumper with a $100 deductable.

 

Take it to another dealership if their is another one around you. Some deals are just more of a pain then others. Tell them this is not your first rodeo and you know the forks need to be replaced so fix it. I just cant beleive dealers tell people that there is nothing wrong with a trans grinding and poping out of gear?? I have had 32 cars and 17 where manual's and none of them just popped out of gear.

 

i got an 05' 41k......no tranny issues.....(knocks on wood)......

 

I got an 05 with 47k... no tranny issues as well. Just the notchy 3rd sometimes shifting into it.

 

yeah there are a few around me, i just havent made it to one of them
