:hmm::hmm::hmm: So I got pulled over and the cop gave me shit about my RED eyelids and my painted RED side markers. We can't had the "illusion" of red lights in the front of the car. I like the red on those things, but I guess the cops don't. Here is a visual. Imageshack was being stupid.
um.... they cant say shit about your eyelids.. only if you have red lights.. if that were the case then alot of the new cars like the corvette couldnt have paint matched headlights.. did you get a ticket? if you did, then fight it.
Nah I got pulled over for speeding lol. 46 in a 35. I wasn't even on the gas. :search: Didn't get a ticket. Going to court.
yea I was thinking bout doing something like that on my maggie but someone (I can't remember who) told me cops REALLY don't like it.
they dont have to like it.. its not illegal. as long as it isnt an emergency colored light then it is fine.
I didn't have the updated proof of insurance in my car. Got it now so I have to go to court for the no proof of insurance which I'll just show there. However there is still that speeding  What do you think it'll be: a fine or traffic school? This is the first time I have gotten pulled over.
If you didn't get a ticket for speed then there won't be any fine or traffic school. If all you have to do is show proof of insurance and you were covered at the time then that's it. You go and show proof of insurance that you were covered at the time and they say ok. That should be it. You are required to carry proof of insurance but I've never heard of anyone getting a fine for not having the card with you. If you didn't have insurance at the time then I'm not sure what happens. Fines and traffic school are for moving violations. Equipment, insurance, license, etc. are not moving violations. Traffic school is an option. Usually it's an option that you choose instead of going to court to fight your ticket. You automatically plead guilty, pay a fixed fine and take the traffic school option (which usually costs more than the fine). If you're guilty, ALWAYS take the traffic school option. If you go to traffic school it doesn't get reported to your insurance company. For minor traffic violations that incur points the worst thing by orders of magnitude is the effect on your insurance. I would get rid of the eyelids. I like it better without them (and they don't seem to color match quite right :dunno2
the eyelids should be fine but to be on the safe side i would get rid of the red sidemarkers or take out the bulbes
I got pulled over driving to a friends house for my blue LED's I was using for my clear side marker lenses and he asked if I have a kill switch for them and I said nope those are the actually bulbs and later one switched them out for white LED's and smoked lenses which have a bit of white/bluish tint to them but haven't been pulled over for that.
