Good news for all you out there that have a stroker motor i.e. 392, 426, and 440's. We are working on a new intake for the Hemi. Next week we should have some dyno results.

    For the 6.1 heads :

    CnC'd intake opening to 90mm
CnC'd intake runners to match CnC'd heads from other manufacturers.
    New 90mm Throttle body

    For the 5.7 heads :

    CnC'd intake opening to 90mm
    CnC'd intake runners
Special Phenolic spacers to adapt 6.1L manifold to 5.7 heads with hardware
    New 90mm Throttle body

This intake setup may require a special CMR tune. I will verify this when we install this for R&D. Just know that we are working on a solution for increased airflow and more HP for you guys. Stay tuned.

So this is a manifold and throttle body combination? Sounds pretty good.....I may have to cruise down Beach Blvd and visit you guys.

Yes it is a manifold and throttle body combo for the 6.1 crowd, and manifold, throttle body, and spacers for the 5.7 crowd.

Are you making a new 90MM TB or are you going to use the FAST. AZPS and I where going to try that with the stock intake manifold. We had looked at the FAST conversion with the adapter also, but didn't care for that.

Fast does not make an ETC TB that I'm aware of. I'm in the process of writing a proposal to F.A.S.T. to see if they are interested in making a polymer two piece manifold like the LS series. For now the manifold will be a factory 6.1L that will have custom work down to it per application.

Very cool.....so it is the factory TB? Can you make it respond any quicker?

Off the subject......did you guys at one time dabble with AMG cars?

It won't be a factory ETC TB. The factory does not have the room for a 10mm over bore 5mm per side. Yes I can make the RAF quicker. The relationship between the gas pedal and ETC.

Dabbled a little bit with AMG's built a few fast 403's for some street cars and such, old school Javelin's.

The adapter IMO is not the way to go. The gains will be had by opening up the plenuim.

That's why I didn't try it. It's been out since SEMA last year. I was just making the point that they are using their LS GM motor 90MM TB on 6.1's. I was looking into modifying a stock intake manifold. We had a CNC guy lined up to port the manifold, along with a fabricator to do this back in March or April. Just never put it all together. I had 2 90MM TB's at that time for my Z28. One was a FAST and the other a Williams. They where cable TB's, not drive by wire. Just back burnered it, and AZPS is out of business now.

It's a but load of work. I started looking at it 4-5 months ago. I bet there is atleast 15 hours of machining work alone at the TB mounting point between decking and porting. Not including all the internal work. And then battleing Hal. I've modded two TB's, both of them throw her into limp mode. All the codes were position indicator verses map related.

Cool, I'll call ya in a while and we can compare notes on the ohm value of the position indicators. If those are close enough, I could machine an adapter for my ported manifold and that TB and try it out before you go spending a whole bunch of time on a stock manifold.
