Its a little snug I know some took the stock rubber ring of the stock bulb and swapped it with the one that came on the kit and it was not so tight, but if you push and turn hard enough it will eventually turn my passenger side was tuff
I believe this is what Stevo did as well. He switched up the stock ring to the HID and it worked but had a hell of a time at first. Perhaps he'll chime in on this.
