At first I was extremely pissed thinking how I would get screwed on the deductible. A couple of years ago I purchased a really nice Pioneer head unit, two amps, subwoofers, XM satellite reciever, wireing, etc. All in all about 4k with installation included. I was looking at replacement stuff today online looking for replacements for the equipment.....when it occurred to me....I don't have to use the insurance check on replacing the stolen stuff. I can use it toward a blower!!! WOOOOHOOOOO....HOT DAMN!!!! Getting one may be more attainable than first imagined! The first thing I did was call Momo....he's probably in a fight right now with Mrs. Momo out of pure jealousy!!! Hehe
Ya know I was told over and over again by TRAVELERS INSURANCE that the damage to my car was 1500 dollars and I would be receiving a check to pay for all the parts as I was going to do the work myself. Well after sending them prices for the parts I needed they sent me a check for 100 bucks to fix my trunk lid from when my wing was stolen. I work for an insurance agent and I even think insurance is a crock of shit.
Really? I have all the reciepts...you think I'll get fucked! These turds punched out my driver side lock, popped my hood, took out the horn fuse, and cut the siren wire. I'll be really pissed since I've had the same insurance company for 20 years without any claims!
I got ass raped... My neon is still jacked... Thank god bonus time is coming up this week I will be getting that shit fixed
By tomorrow morning, I'll have this thread so fucking far off topic that everyone will forget what its about.
I call bullshit! Jason will be offline within the next 15 minutes....and that includes a well written diatribe on another thread! lol
Wow, sorry to hear that Rick. I'm hoping for the best for you. Not sure how it's going to work on aftermarket stuff. Sometimes it's not covered at all or they only cover back to stock. Other times they cover anything that requires tools to remove (not loose articles). Just in case they pay replacement cost look up the price of the comparable model at your local Macy's or other upscale brick&mortar store.
Damn, that sucks Rick. When my car was busted intro a couple years ago, the fuckers used my tools that I had in there to pop the radio, cap, and amps....then took the tools with them. Insurance covered everything that was bolted down, but I lost out on 500 bucks worth of tools and 3K+ worth of CD's.
That sucks Rick. I've had state farm for 20 years now as well and they have always treated me fairly so I hope they write that nice check for you. Oh, and I wish you would have caught the perps in the act....and had VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's tomorrow morning??? Bunch of hot air!!! lol I'm going to call them here after a cup of coffee....we'll have to wait to see what happens. You're not getting your full value out of Markus...I hear he's pretty good at handjobs. Thanks Milan. Since I'm carrying a handgun at the time it probably wouldn't have faired so well for them. :dance4:
Sorry to read about your bad fortune bro, hope these good for nothing insurance companies pay you good. I hate hate hate :wallbash: insurance companies from the bottom of my heart. PS On a good note I've never had any of my vehicles broken in to, but I did get robed at a Carls Junior drive through at gun point some time back. Fucker had the gun in my eye too irate: wtf who does that. They got me for $6 :getlost:.
What a slap in the face... used your own tools to stick it to you. Ryan's people are like that, however.
Hey, did you guys ever see this chick, Jenn Sterger?!?! FSU Cowgirl?!?! BTW: Rick, its still morning!
SIX BUCKS????....what a bunch of turds! This the third time one of my vehicles has been broken into the past 20 years. Bass turd's....lol
Yes we are !! Plus if we happen to get hurt while attempting to steal something on or in your property, we will then turn around and attempt to sue you for personal injury.
My insurance company covered my "aftermarket" repairs when I had the fight with the concrete wall last year. I even got a set of Magnaflow OffRoad thingy's out of it and a check for installation.
Well that sucks Brudda! I'm with Momo... check Ryan's house for evidence! Hopefully the insurance people won't screw you over too bad with the BS of ... well, it's an older model stereo, etc... set a trap for the little fucers and we'll beat the $hit out of them, then we'll let Jason have his way with them... then have Ryan drop them off over the "line" and use them as Juan's man whores!
Man whores?!!? If you were a good business man, you'd use them yourself... kind of like as support personnel.
