Sooo I'd like to join the world of the real mods with a heads/cam setup eventually... What I want to know is what you guys who actually know what your talking about think of different setups... I havent really decided on heads yet...i was leaning towards PPP but im not set... I was also looking to get the road warrior cam but this new SRT MAX cam has peaked my interest.... my car will be mostly drivin on the streets and stuff with a trip to the track a few times during the summer time... so what do you all think?
can i sub them for diapers?...i dont want to clean up after people who ride in my car hahahahaha :grin: basically what i want to be sure is that its driveable haha...so as long as its driveable im plenty happy haha
I agree with Curtis. Either PPP or HHP you absolutely cannot lose. I have a one of a kind setup from PPP. Literally the only one with my cam in the US. The thing you have to make sure of is a perfect install. Other than that, it's just how aggressive you want to go!!!!!! Chase
Go Steve goooooooooooooooo. Excellent choice in having Erik be the installer. As for the parts, any one of our vendors have great product. Inirtia, HHP, PPP... Give them a call and ask questions. Give them your thoughts on what YOU are looking for in performance so that they can match you up... Get get em bro...

hhp stage 2 nizzle ftw! get a predator cmr tune though, really squeeze the max outta that package. make sure you also get a good torque converter.

I would suggest that you also make a list of wants and/or don't wants. For example, I'm not a big fan of hand done head porting so I immediately excluded HHP and Frank's from my head search. That left PPP and Inertia Motorsports. After talking to both, I felt that Stu understood my needs better and he was more willing to do a custom set-up instead of something off the shelf. My new big valve Inertia heads and SRTMax(Hell) cam are terrific!
You can spend hours searching and talking and reading, but it's pretty simple who the Top 2 N/A 6.1 record holders are. That says more than enough.
well this isnt gonna be done like TOMORROW...so i have plenty of time to look into everything...im on the way...i have piece 1...the predator hahahahaha
