Well It's official.....I set the date today with Andy. As of Monday March 17th, I will be headed to Cincinatti, OH to PPP headquarters!!!! Gettin a 426ci, injectors, Quaiffe, 1000hp halfshafts, NGK plugs, extruded manifold, the whole package!! And a few other goodies, that I will keep quiet for now......
I got a few things done on the Charger today as well. Marcel hooked me up with projectors and fogs, so I got those installed. And I got my exhuast customized and painted gloss black. I also got my HIDs installed on the Jeep and getting my custom exhaust for it finished tomorrow. I've also got an underhood package coming for the Jeep from Billet Tech. along with my soon arriving THORhammer and Kooks headers for the Jeep.

I know how you guys are about pics, but the Charger is covered in dust (friggin garage queen) and fingerprints, and the Jeep is filthy from recent weather. But I was just so fuggin stoked about all this, I had to share with my SRT family!!!!! I'll take pics when it's all done and do ONE MAJOR unveiling with everything installed. Trust me, it'll be SRT8 XXX-rated porn up in this bitch when I'm done!!!!

One last question for all you 426 owners out there. Are there any recommendations you have for me going into this? Anything I should be thinking or concerned about? Hal? Nathan? Carl?
    Chase

I really did man. It was a tough decision. But it came down to this.....
When I even do little stuff like I did today, small mods. I get all fired up. When I go to pick the car up from the shop, I feel like a kid on Christmas morning, every single time! I can't wait to see how things are going to improve with every little mod. I just get all fired up inside.
And the whole feeling of being an SRT8 owner has been the coolest "car guy" feeling I've ever had. At the end of the day, I just can't see myself in a E63. And now, I'm preparing to embarass all those guys.....and look a million times sexier doing it! I feel great about this decision. And can't wait to get it going! Thanks a ton for all the advice along the way so far Ron, it's greatly appreciated by this novice!!! :thanks:

Yeah, lol. I obviously got the black exhaust idea from you! We share some common taste. But I did the tips too, no polish, all black. Maybe that will give you a hint as to where I'm headed with the exterior cosmetic stuff. :) You'll see..... And yes the projectors are SICK. I've been in luxury vehicles before, and my old S4 had xenons. But these suckers are SERIOUS!!! I mean the sight is intense!!
Thanks Chris! Preciate the kudos man!!!

chase - your words are almost identical to my feelings when doing the same!!!!! i drove luxury euro sleds for a looooong time. sweet rides, but not the same "car guy" feel. our chargers may not be a tight and well built, or have sexy leather door panels, but it is a cool, car guy kinda ride. the kind of car that has such a high "cool factor" that it becomes addictive. enjoy your ride, and congrats again on your decision.....

Thats awesome Chase brotha! Nice leap you took there for sure and there should be no reason that ride cannot pull off some 11 second timeslips. I don't know if you drag race or go to the track..but man, if you don't, consider it. You will LOVE it. It WILL make you enjoy those mods that much more my friend. I can't wait until they open them up again at the end of March.

Just a few mods huh? Damn, you are one happy camper!!! Glad you got the HID issues solved. You could take some night pics in front of the pad. It's not like we're gonna see the paint. Post 'em if you got 'em!

Do it! I was skeptical as well. But damn! I'm sooooo glad I did it! Looks mean as shit! Gonna put a twist on my SRT8 emblems to tie it in.......
Thanks Marcel. The Jeep lights were a nice upgrade, totally enjoy them. But daaaaaaamn the projectors take it to a whole nother level man! MAJOR improvement! Couldn't be happier.
Waiting on a couple small fixes from Marcel. Once I get those, I will post pics fo sho!
    Shhhhhhhh.......

I will head to the track for sure this year. Last time I took a car to the strip was about 6 years ago with a 1.8T VW GTI I had. I will have dyno graphs to post when I get back (March 20 or 21) due to PPP doing in-house tuning while I'm there. But I am very eager to get back to the track this year also!!!! I hear ya brother Milan......
