I've heard people chirpin' that Tom went out of business, the phones just ring, etc etc. Are these rumours or does anyone know anything about this?
i heard he is on vacation. thats what their site says. closed for vacation. weather or not it IS vacation is any mans guess.
Rumors are running wild, but most people don't disconnect their telephones and e-mail addresses when going on vacation, and most vacations don't last this long.

Sounds like more than a vac. Someone from LXF shipped a part back via UPS and it came back as undeliverable, and a local member on LXF went by his shop and said it was empty. There are rumors he has gone into hiding to avoid getting divorce papers filed, but it is true that all emails, fax, and phone services are disconnected. Very strange to say the least. I hope everything is ok with him.

I followed those threads from lxforums to chargerforums to ls1gto[or something]forums where Tom was posting a little while back. If it was actually him (posting as tbyrne and those guys seemed to know him) he was going on about it being divorce time. Guess it's been no secret for a year or two and how he had some plan and was getting his ducks in a row and didn't want to be served for 2 or 3 weeks and then everything would be fine. Something like that. It sounded like he might be incognito for a while. Not a single person said their cc had been charged for anything they didn't get although a whole mob sounded like they thought he aught to be lynched because... well, because it sounded like they weren't going to get it somewhere else for the same price. I think maybe a few people holding gift certificates are up in the air for a while though. That's what I gathered about the whole thing. Nothing first hand.
D, You know how people are bro! They jump to the worse case scenario at the start. Patience is something we all fail to have when it comes to our money or time. Hopefully everything works out for the guy. He did have some really good prices around x-mas. I almost bought from him, but found a hookup else where.
As long as he didn't charge people for items that were not sent (which I heard he DID NOT DO as well), the man has to take care of his personal business before anything else. He did have some killer prices/sales (like Kooks Headers with Hi-Flo cats jet coated inside and out for $1299!! I'm still shaking my head over that one in disbelief) and I have personally heard vendors griping over this as well. I'm sure he will be back in some way shape or form once he's figured out how to hide stuff before they undergo proceedings lol...Ok, maybe that was my plan haha...j/k j/k:rofl2:
his cai+pred deal was awesome as well. i thought it was kinda crazy when he wanted to sell his blown 05 C6 for about 10k less than what it was worth...
yeah...i was charged...and if anyone knows how to contact him...please let me know...because im going to see to it that i find him using whatever authorities are appropriate...and get my money back... he will have a really bad day if this is the case...
