I've been on the internet looking for some blue silicone hoses to spruce up the look of my engine bay. I emailed SAMCO and several other companies, but they only make a set for the 5.7! Can anyone recommend a company, idea or am I chit out of luck in doing this mod.

Thanks for all your help and support fellow SRT-Connection members:scare:

ryan, this is a great idea!!! do things have to come in a "kit" per say, or couldn't you just try and find the hose in bulk????? either that, or try getting a hold of kris and lisa at BMC for some coverings for the hoses..... just an idea! good luck and let us know what you come up with!

    Ryan,

Try checking at a Wholesale for Hydraulic Hoses. Sometimes they care Radiator and Engine spec'd hoses for cars.

I know I have hyped on this folks before.....but they carry a nice line and you can get parts at Summit Racing or a least see pricing. They have a lot of stainless over hose kits and components only.

Spectre Performance.....look in the catalog under plumbing.
Nice site for custom CAI plumbing too......

    Summit Racing Spectre performance list......huge

This is what "Talon" is running on his BT Catch Can.

    Sean,

Who the taco guy, the waitress at Chili's, the Greeter at Wal-Mart, bro I need some direction with that! I've looked all over the internet and the buttknuckles keep telling me the same thing. I think our hose kit for the 5.7 will fit your 6.1. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, okay maybe I did think Elvis was alive and living in Vegas, but the 5.7 won't fit the 6.1.
Maybe I didn't catch it and you were throwing chit to see if it would stick. In that case I'm fully suited with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hmm:

Holy crap! that would make perfect brake lines. Isn't the major downside to stainless braided brake lines the wear that results from dirt getting under the jacketing?

Ebay has ss braid hose in lengths and coil and magna fittings. Right now I have a sleeve-over kit and dont like it.Its either to loose looking or to tight where you can see through it. I'll be changing to above or maybe An style from summit if I have the extra cash.

Are you just looking for the radiator hoses?

The 4 piece kit they sell is upper and lower radiator hoses, 1 breather to air box hose and some mystery hose that doesn't seem to fit anything.

I have a 6.1 based 392 in my original 5.7 Magnum and used the SAMCO radiator hoses with no problems.

Since Ron and Chris busted my balz in the "Coilover" thread... I have this to say:

Ryan find someone to make something out of silicone and metal? Sht... he's got his own fabrication setup in his garage... he uses Drew's balloon knot as a mold!
