Finally got around to removing the JEEP emblems from the front of the hood and rear section, I at first liked them on there but after removing them it looks much better. I wish the dealership had not put on the front Lisc plate I took it off and they mangled the bumper and the screw holes are pulled out and away from the bumper so I put it back on for now.
Well its about time bro, now lose the plate and you will be pimpin. Take the plate off and fill the holes, its not that bad of a job
The only problem is, it depends on what the dealer did to the bumper underneith. I pulled my front plate off, but the bumper was so scratched along with the holes, I bet it would have cost me $500 to have the holes filled and the bumper repainted. So, I just left the plate on. Better safe then sorry. :headspin:
Exactly why I had my boys at the dealership never install that thing! Definitely awesome to have a good dealership that knows whats up!
I unfortunately didn't have a choice. The dealership where I bought my GC had already mounted the plate.
Same here, when I removed the plate and frame the holes were there of course but they were bulged out as they did not pre-drill the holes
I enjoyed the glory of 9 months without a front plate 'til getting pulled over 2 times in two hours on the same day for the infraction. It was a simple install though so it's frustrating to hear how the dealers go about doing such crappy work!
Yeah that is always a gamble, I got away with it on my GT for 3 years and 2 years on my Hemi truck, but on road trips I put suction cups on the top corner where the holes are and stuck it to the windshield
I think it was way back when. Maybe on srt8oc. Someone had a really neat bracket that attached behind and stuck out through the lower grill.
