Wow. My wonderful wife gave birth to our first son, 2 months ago! I found out in about 10 seconds that being a Dad is the best thing in life... even better than a street kill. Fish: my family has had a rather long history with fish/aquariums/ponds. Our "all time" fish is the Silver Arowana, from the Amazon (see pic below). I had one years ago that would eat the live mice our family cat would catch. His name was "Harry II" - after my Dad's first Arowana and "Dirty Harry". We used 125-150 gallon tanks. My brother raised one named "Jeffrey" (after Jeff Dahmer) that was a tad over 4 feet long. These things will eat ANYTHING that fit in their mouths... in the wild, this includes birds, bats and monkeys... these fish can jump over 6 feet out of the water to catch prey. Silver Arowana As of the last years, ponds and koi have become my brothers thing (was my Dad's - he started him in it - until he passed) to carry on the tradition. As for me, I earned my AA, BS and Masters and have worked for the gov for about 7 years total (see I told you I wasn't as stupid as I act!).
standby if you have any diagrams, please show them to us. ive been experimenting with starfish lately but nothing is rock solid yet...except me. my first obstacle was finding an aquarium big enoug for me to fit in with all of my snorkel gear. the second hinderence was every time i tried, i ripped the poor seahorse in half. my newest attempt hasnt been tried yet. im currently working on splicing genes from vietnamese genital elephantitas victims and utilizing stem cells from aborted seahorse fetus's as well as stillborn seahorses that died do to a pre-natal crack addiction. id say the results are mixed so far but it looks rather promising.
