No projectors...a bit much for me...sorry guys. What would have been an acceptable brightness level for city driving? Oh man...I don't want to install these things and then be unhappy with them...I can hear my wife now: "You have your high beams on?" Um...no. "You mean your lights are that bright? You're blinding people"! Um, it's all good..don't worry about it. lol. :chair:

THIS IS NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! I thought I was just getting a fricken HID kit with NO need for projectors since I didn't think they were for me. I basically wanted the normal HID setups that many cars have right out of the factory. A little brighter was OK...but blinding people is not good for me at all.

Crap, this is not good. I mean I knew they would be brighter which is why I ordered them, but I don't want to be blinding others either. And I have no intentions of getting the projectors - simply don't like them. Wish I would have known this or at least warned prior to buying. Great, now what?

So, it sounds to me like there's no way to get around blinding people and constantly getting flashed? What I thought I was purchasing was a nice refined light not unlike that found in most factory high end cars. :chair:

I have PM'd Marcel as this is not what I thought I was buying into. He did initially quote me on the projectors as well but I decided I would do like Stevo and go for the HID lows and fogs. You probably did the same by following suit and getting what others thought was 'the best' light choice. We'll wait to see what Marcel suggests I guess.

Marcel has suggested adjusting the angle on the lighting to prevent blinding and I agree that I knew and liked the idea that they were in fact brighter.

I changed the angle on mine and the flashing from oncomers has stopped, if in doubt have someone drive towards you and get their thoughts and go from there as I think you can find a happy medium with the HID's

Thanks guys for the tips and..sorry for jumping to conclusions Marcel. I'm hoping angling them down some does the trick.
