    didn't even ge back as much as last year. they told me i couldn't claim my tool payments because it had to equal $5300 in order to qualify for the deduction.

    damn...i just got my w-2 today...i'ma go get them done tomorrow...granted I didn't make much, so we'll see how bad i get shafted

    i'm not expecting much back either IF anything but as far as that 5300 limit? i was told it had to be at least 4000 to get it back but still, you shoulda been able to claim it just you wouldn't get any of it back even if it was less than 4k.....i think....at least that's what i was told.....

    Did you already finish everything with your taxes Ozzy? If not I can ask my dad to take a look at it. I forgot to ask before when you said something to me about it.

    I highly recommend http://taxactonline.com/
    It is FREE, user friendly (a high schooler could use it) and includes everything from hybrid cars and charities to investments and tuition from school, etc. I chose the e-file option and did not have to send any paperwork at all.
    The IRS accepted it on 2/11 and refund will be in my checking account on 2/22.

    mine is more this year. only because I bought a house, and a new truck. tax deductions are great :worthy:
