Please help me in the quest to find the right tire size. :shout: I know everyone has their own opinion. I'm finding this out as I call several different tire shops and I'm sure I'll find out as people respond. I'm debating on a set of 275/45/20's!!!!! I'm hoping to see pics with the tire set-up on a lowered ride. I'm getting my Eibach Coil Overs put on next week, so if you ride is lowered much appreciated. If you have no pics to upload, well PUCK off and have a nice day........... :muscle:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Thanks for all and any help. MOMO stay away from this legit thread you little "BYTCH" and pile of :poop:!

Ryan, PM John (sdcarguy) for a pic. His set of powdercoated rims has 275/40 Nitto Invos in the rear. And I know he took some pics of it.

I'm thinking you might be the first with that size. That would be 3/4" larger than your F1's and almost 1" larger than the RSA's. I don't think you'd have to shave the bolt/nut on the top control arm. I think dropping the car 1 1/2" inches would look nice and put you 1/2" lower than stock. I was thinking that would be just right for me around here with ground clearance. I think it would fill out the wells front to back better. I have no idea if you'd notice the extra sidewall or not and if it would make your wheels look smaller. 30 day exchange/return? You could provide some invaluable pics for the site :thumb3:

Huh? Pretty much everyone who runs Toyo Proxes4s or Nitto Invos on 20" wheels runs a 275/40 in the rear.

Sorry, my fault. Ryan PM'd me asking about the 275/40s, and obviously I didn't read his post very thoroughly.

    Ryan...

While this thread is legit, there's only one way to TRULY tell what a 275/45/20 will look like on your car... TEST FIT. You have the connection to get this done.

Remember: A 275/45/20 Toyo will look differently than the same size Nitto, Vredestein, etc. They have different patterns, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, I think that the same size tire from different manuf. might actually measure differently too (real world tire height)... but I could be wrong.

Seriously consider getting a test fit via your brother... that way, we can stop all this non-sensical bullshit that you seem to post when you seem to find the deal of the century or someone, somewhere, mentions in passing that product "X" would work on your SRT8. Save us all the grief. I'm begging you. LMAO! I love ya, and you know it.

It's an art communicating with those guys... Ignore any specifics, go with your overall impression of what they've been interested in for the last couple of months and then hone it down to "I'll bet they're actually asking about this". Might be a slight (but important) difference or it could just as well be something totally unrelated to what was typed .

    Ryan,

Here's what my old NON-LOWERED V6 Maggie looked like with 275/45/20 on it. And I had to shave the bolt on the front control arms and put in spacers. because it rubbed... Don't know (or really give a hoot ) if this will help but here ya go

Moe, what pics you find while surfing for 'tug material' is none of my business... but I do like that shade of pink!
