Please don't crush me about this because it does say in this lounge to talk about anything I just wish my Charger SRT could do this.

Put money down on a Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO. Yamaha claims it's quicker than ZO6 to 30 mph. I think they claim 1.8seconds and that is in the water. That is some kickass acceleration. Hopefully we can hold on.

Can you imagine Finally might be quicker than a Corvette. Should have PWC in March. Love boating just had to give up that 70 gph for fuel for a twin engine boat.

Those things are badass, 1.8L supercharged with one piece cylinder and crankscase. I like the cruise control feature and the NO WAKE feature, 1812cc thats more than the new Busa, pretty darn cool your gonna have a blast this summer

we have two of the turboed seadoo singles. fast as hell and the torque can pop you out of the seat...but they are modified. a friend of ours does tuning and modifications to these already fast as hell water rockets.

75mph all day long. the most fun i have ever had.

    Drkne55,

Wow that is some serious speed for a pwc. basically just flat flyin.Don't think I have been over 45mph on a pwc. They claim these new musclecraft can go 65mmph guess I'm gonna find out.

You mention turbos did you install yourself and you had to change pump and intake grate?

    CentraltexHemi,

Your right all those features are just some of the reasons I purchased can't wait to get out there and kick some ass. Just a little nervous that this is the first year with all the new technology. All my friends with yamaha products rave about reliability. Sometimes it's better to wait until tech is proven but you Know what you only live ONCE!

Had some people recently pass away and I just wanna have fun!

    That's a nice machine!

I am kind of partial to the Sea-Doo though!

Mine is a stock 2005 RXP. I can get 72 on good water. I have never timed it, but I would guess that 30 mph in 1.8 is about right! Love it!!!

    What a combination!

Enjoy the new boat! And be careful!!

Once I learn how to put pictures on this website I'll do so but right now I am still computer illiterate.

By the way that Seadoo is real nice. Your speed is that speedo or GPS?

Was considering the new 255hp RXT-X but went with the Yammi.

To do the pics, open a free account at photobucket, upload your pics, and then copy and paste the IMG CODE line into your post!

That speed is off the speedo, which I know is not actual, by my GPS it's around 69.

Still plenty fast on the water!

How many HP is the Yamaha?

naw, i didnt do anything myself. they come with the turbo and i believe something around 220+ hp. i leave tuning and modding it to the pros. my buddy does all the custom work on these, hes really big out here as a water racing type.

haha, you and i have the same water toys. you modify them at all yet? i was in portland during the rose parade last year racing up and down the ocean inlet there. my cousin was riding the one in front to break the water and get it clean and smooth, then i would take it up to speed and just flat out fly.

I haven't done a thing to it yet.

I am planning on a new grate and some new sponsons this summer, and I have a friend who does some tuning. But, for me it's fast enough!

no doubt, ditching a pwc at 50+ feels the same as if you did it on the pavement.

getting into tricks is how i stay entertained, that and tripping speed boats out with the fact im blowing by them in a dead heat run.

    Not Fair!
Maybe I'll have to get that new aluminum 440ci with turbo then maybe I would be faster but will have to wait until kids graduate college/law school.

    Drkne55,
I posed that question about turbos only because I thought they were supercharged/intercooled. I really like that cooling system on the Seadoo(self contained /no outside water). The Yamaha HP is or has not been released but from what I gather about 210-220hp. Company called RIVA already has plans to boost power for 1812cc motor. Should be fun.

It's funny you mention about passing speedboats. I have been boating since 1964 when going 35mph was fast. But these new PWC's going 65mph-70mph WOW!

yea I wish I went the 440 route at the start. But I am either going to turbo or richwood/gsm supercharging it by summertime. (and keep most my nitrous)

Speaking of which, have you changed out the SC Washers yet?

The original washers are ceramic and they have a nasty habit of blowing up, and fouling the engine pretty bad!!

I had to have my entire top end re-built due to the number 2 keeper dropping the valve into the head last year! Luckily I bought the extended waranty and saved about $2400!!!

Don't know if you are familiar with this site, but LOT'S of good info there: http://greenhulk.net/forums/
