Oh oh...didn't realize tomorrow was Valentine's Day!

Crap. What to get wifey. Anyone have any ideas? Under $300 bucks please. Oh ya, and she has everything; she thinks flowers are a waste of money and smell up the house after a few days; she's gonna pop in about 5 1/2 weeks with our second little gaffer too so clothes are out. I was thinking a pedicure/manicure/facial thingy, a card and some chocolate but "kind of" wanted to do something different. We can't find our our digital camera (I'm thinking the little one walked off with it and tossed it somewhere), so I was thinking a new one but I "think" she'd say isn't this a gift for you too? Me: "Um, no"?

Ideas people. I need ideas. Oh and I have the reservations to a local steakhouse booked for this Saturday so that's in there.

 

why dont you just get her a day at the spa for the works...and throw in some jewelry for good measure? I went with 32 multi colored roses and a nice diamond/white gold necklass

Get her a mommy and baby gift and something that makes her feel sexy, with her being preggy she cant do pedicures the fumes in those places are a no,no while pregnant

 

I seond this motion... as my wife feels the same about flowers, etc.

I did this very thing for my wife's bday. Got the gift certificate AND setup the appointment for her. There are special massages for pregnant women. I'm planning on doing the same for V-Day but with a pedicure.

I'll likely get... ummm... I'll let ya know. But it sure as hell ain't gonna be no mod!

i just got my girl a couple pairs of earrings and ill cook her dinner that night.

this day is a total bullshit day in the first place. meant solely for guys to blow money on bullshit.

 

Last year I was in the same boat and found a Limo service that would pick her and her co-workers or friends up for lunch/dinner and bring em back, she loved it because she loved the limo serv, food and hanging with her friends.

 

First off I almost gagged on this. MEN DON'T THINK IN "5 1/2" WEEKS. Men think "in about a month". If you really want to be exact then "in about a month or so". Got it?

Go for the preggo massage. Getting her a pedicure, facial, beauty salon is like answering "do you think I look fat?"

 

I would do a pregnancy spa package...those are awesome...

Massages are covered by both our employers in our benefits package. I'm still trying to see if a run n' tug qualifies though haha j/k. Momo, this is one "Day" I wish Canadians didn't have as we both know that WE are our wives gifts each and every day. lol..and yeah, it is a money grab...I'll buy her stuff for any day...of course she usually returns it. Dave, yeah, 5 1/2 weeks is kinda of silly being the manly man's man that I am...but it strikes a chord with me because this is also the day that Team "Double Trouble" is formally inaugurated and my 'busy' life becomes a thing of the past...one that is replaced with "busy busy" lol. And thanks Wade...I would have completely forgot about the fumes of a pedicure/manicure thing. Hmm preganancy spa packages...wonder what those entail..sounds like a good idea.

OH NO WAY!! I honestly did that for Christmas....she was NOT impressed AT ALL! I told her, if you did that for me, I would love it! Something about being romantic and stuff...IDK wasn't really paying attention.
