We had a 5.7 hemi with a CIS Turbo on the dyno today and will be running another turbo 5.7 tomorrow. Here is a video, dont ask for dyno numbers as we are not done, but I will say that we hit 400rwtq at 3600rpm with 4.5 lbs of boost and at 4250rpm there was a 115rwtq gain and 94rwhp gain. Again this is at 4.5 lbs of boost. Check out the video.
Not here it hasnt, but we had a customer take his somewhere to get dyno-tuned and he told them that he was buying a new shortblock not to worry about damage, well, next thing you know, 12lbs of boost later and the piston is gone, lol. We were completely independent of that one. You absolutely can not run more than 7lbs of boost on either engine and expect everything to be happy. Our own test vehicle has 29,000 miles on it and it runs between 5-8psi all the time without any issues period. The customer that blew his engine now has a 426 bottom end and should be fine running 12lbs of boost now.
That system is sweet guys sounds mean as hell. Damn I cannot wait to get up to the Columbus M&G and see those systems in person lol.
