Has anyone ever removed the rear trunk wing off their 300? I know it has two pins that I'm assuming are pressure pined to pop open when it was set into the holes. If you remove it will it break the emblem, much less the two posts?

Trying to check ahead of time, so I can order a new one just in case.

Ryan, you dumb SOB... this belongs in the LX section. No wonder no one responds to your questions.

Anyway... WTF are you thinking of doing now? You don't even have a STINKING Predator yet, and you're tearing shit off you car?!!?

Why? Can you answer that? Why Ryan? Why?

Wait... are you going along the same lines as the BFG tire train of thought, and you're actually going to try and squeeze a Honda Civic spoiler on there?!?!

TALK SHIT "CARTMEN"! Their you go acting like a "WOMAN" and assuming you know everything. This is the reason I have kept you in the dark about some additional things going on. No, I'm not talking about what you and Drew do when the lights are out in the Sears/JCPenney bathroom stalls...............................

Thanks Markus! My detail guy that removed the SRT8 logo from the trunk lid told me the wing did have the post. I didn't even try to look at it and took his word. I'm going to stop by the dealer to see what they say. Hopefully I don't get the tart who doesn't know anything, but tries to act like he knows everything (MOMO)!

This is what happens when "STUPID WHITEY" doesn't read the thread correctly! Did I mention anything about the "SPOILER"? Oh, wait your MOMO and can't reach the keyboard without jumping! Maybe you got tired of being on your tippy toes when you read the thread. Hopefully that is the reason for your "STUPID COMMENT"!

Ryan, can you tell us why you are taking the emblem off? Are you going to paint it black, remove it altogether and fill the holes or something else? Enquiring minds want to know. I want to have mine painted matte black. I am interested to hear how easy it is to take the wings off and then put them back on. With the rear deck curved like it is, I would think that they would all have the posts.

I think Ryan might be better served over at 300cforums or chargerforums (I know he owns a 300). He would fit in with all the "bling heads"! Doesn't own a Predator??? (shakes head)

    Sam,

I'm planning on painting the wing black. The guy at the dealer told me the wing has two prongs, but the prongs don't have the pressure wings that open up after it is pushed into the hole. Sorry, but don't know all the tech verbage for this! He told me there should not be any problem with removing it to paint it. The holes are only there to line the wing up correctly on the trunk.

I was worried it would crack if I removed it and was checking into buying a new one. The dealer wanted $61 for the wing. I found it on eBay for around $35-$40. I'm going to try and pull it off this weekend.

    Ricky,

Thanks for your input! When you get back to "WARM" San Diego, CA I have a two handed input for you..................

    You guys can thank Mains.

"Rusty trombone is a euphemism for a sexual act involving a man in a standing position with knees and back slightly bent, with feet at least shoulder width apart in order to expose the anus.[1] The other partner typically is on his or her knees behind the man and performs anilingus while reaching up beneath the testicles or around the body to masturbate the man, mimicking the motions of a trombone player.[1][2] The act is defined primarily by the physical orientation of the partners and the combination of anilingus with penile masturbation; however, other positions and variations are possible.[2]"

That's cool. Keep us updated. Are you painting it yourself? Will you sand the chrome off of the emblem before you paint it? Are you painting everything except he logo? Please post picture when you are done.

Yep. You should hear him at work, whining about mod money (nearly as much as me, BTW)... he'll spend $400 on painting shit black, but not on something that'll transform his car into an even better performance machine. Then again, in TJ, bling is the word on the Avenida.

I believe that where Ryan comes from, they call that a Chocolate Burrito.

No problem Sam! I'm also trying to get the JBA exhaust tips powder coated at the same time.

If my stuff comes in at the end of the week hopefully I'll have it all done and then some prior to the Spring Festival. :zorro:
